How to Book a Charter
Call, write, FAX, or e-mail to check the availability of particular boats for your selected dates. You may confirm your charter with a $300.00 booking deposit which will be applied to your charter fee. Upon receipt of the booking deposit, we will send the Charter Agreement for you to review and sign along with a sailing experience résumé which must be filled out and returned. The completed Charter Agreement will not be signed by Carolina Wind until we have received, reviewed, and approved the sailing experience résumé. The remainder of the charter fee is payable by personal check if paid 14 days or more in advance of your departure date. Cash, bank check, travelers checks, VISA and MasterCard are required if paid less than 14 days before departure. A credit card imprint will be made to cover incidental charges and to secure the damage deposit. The charterer must certify in the Charter Agreement that he/she or a member of the crew is experienced and competent in the handling and operation of a yacht equivalent to the one requested for charter, and that he/she has sufficient practical knowledge of seamanship, piloting, docking and anchoring.
