Last season we welcomed Jazzman, a 2003 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45, to our charter fleet. This model offers a classic blend of retro style and modern pace. Philippe Briand is an outstanding designer with immense pedigree, and his work on the Jeanneau 45 is no exception. This 3-cabin model is finished in real teak inside and outside and has the traditional linear galley. The interior of the Jazzman is a prime example of quality and comfort. She has 3 cabins and 2 heads, and there are a number of noticeable refinements. Below is an immense navigation station, bookshelves, lots of storage compartments, a big galley with an expansive countertop, and a huge salon that seats the crowd around a stately table for a warm and cozy atmosphere. The impressive forward owner's cabin, with an island double berth measuring 6' 9" by 5' 3", will seduce you with its stowing capacities (shelving, cupboards, and a large drawer under the berth). The spacious head compartment is equipped with a separate shower area and teak floor grating for comfort and safety. Dual-zone air conditioning and a generator mean you'll be comfortable both at the dock and at anchor. She is designed to sail quickly and comfortably, with dual helms, leather-wrapped steering wheels, and an accommodating cockpit with large drop-leaf table. The in-mast furling main and furling genoa make sail handling a breeze, while the electric windlass does the same for handling the ground tackle. The teak-battened stern swim platform is wide and deep, and has two swinging doors for quick stern entry. She has twin wheel helm stations and a folding cockpit table, and long comfortable seats. Plus, there ís lots of accessible storage, in a large sail locker forward, plus lockers in the cockpit.
