Sea La Vie is a well laid out houseboat with accommodations for nine. She is a comfortable tri hull live aboard, with plenty of holding tank and water capacity, and has spacious decks and salon areas for lounging. Additionally, she has plenty of storage space with bonus space in and around the large engine room. She needs some TLC as there is some leakage around a couple of the window areas which has caused some veneer issues and the out drive needs attention. In all Sea La Vie is a value priced “fixer upper” for the handy boat owner.
Accommodations: Berths for (9) are provided: Below (3) a double and single; in the main salon (2) double; and (4) two doubles in the settee/dining area aft. The interior is trimmed in teak veneer with oiled teak joinery. There are (2) entrances; one aft from the lower deck and the other amidships through the main salon. Coming into the vessel via the main salon puts the nav/piloting station on your immediate right (fwd) as well as the companionway/staircase below to the head/master stateroom. The master stateroom is below down the spiral staircase where the head, tub sink and shower are located. It has several lockers/drawers for storage and enjoys total privacy from the rest of the vessel. To the left (aft) is the companionway down to the settee and aft entrance, engine room and etc. Upon entering the settee area to port is the galley with double sink, double burner alcohol stove and good sized refrigerator, and ample storage. The engine room is accessed from the aft deck via a large hatch. There is a sun deck that is also accessed from the aft deck up a short stair case forward. In all there are (3) roomy deck areas: sun deck; aft deck; and forward deck. The vessel is also equipped with several large sliding doors/windows which allow for maximum cross ventilation in addition to the 120 volt air conditioning system. There are also ample lockers and storage areas throughout. This is a great live aboard vessel!
Galley The galley is aft in the settee and is equipped with a double stainless steel sink, hot/cold pressure water, and a large refrigerator. There are also ample storage lockers throughout.
Head The head is forward below and again is equipped with hot/cold pressurized water, a marine head, bathtub/shower, sink and ample 120vac outlets. The pre-molded sink/tub and shower are easy to care for. The head area also has decent ventilation with opening ports.
Electrical Sea La Vie has (2) 30 amp dockside AC services, a 12 VDC service, (3) batteries, a converter, air conditioning, hot water heater, and multiple AC outlets throughout.
Electronics The vessel is equipped with a Ray Jeff VHF radio, stereo, an SR Mariner digital depth meter, and ample engine monitoring electronics.
