The venerable Catalina 27.…nicely equipped and yard maintained. She will be a great entry level sailing platform, or a very manageable boat for the experienced sailor who wants to downsize.

Accommodations:

Berths for 5 are provided in the V-berth (2), starboard settee (1), port settee with double pullout berth (2), and the starboard aft quarter berth (2). The cabin has plenty of storage under settees, in drawers and hanging locker. A fold away teak dining table provides a comfortable below deck place to dine.

Galley

2 burner propane stove, wood cutting board, stainless steel sink with fresh water pump and built in ice box.

Head

A reliable manual head with new pump, stainless steel basin and shower.

Electrical

110V AC and 12V DC services. The 110-volt AC shore power has a built-in battery charger to keep the 2 batteries with selector switch toped off, and AC receptacles are located in usable locations. The engine room is equipped with an automatic heater that activates when the temperature drops below 40 degrees F. Extra cabin lights are located at the bunks for reading.

Electronics

2 depth sounders, knot meter, and wind instrument along with VHF radio and FM radio with marine band and CD changer.

Sails and Rigging

Roller furling is standard for the 150% Genoa. The main sail has jiffy reefing and Lazy Jacks, with all lines and sail controls led and handled from the cockpit. Large self-tailing primary winches, cabin top traveler, and boom vang make sail adjustments easy. With the addition of the cruising chute this boat will handle well on all points of sail.
