Restless has just been extensively renovated and restored with loving attention to detail. The gorgeous interior must be seen to be believed. Her much-preferred Plan-A arrangement has an extra long convertible settee to port and sit-down chart table and galley to starboard. The spanking-new teak and holly cabin sole is a fine example of the craftsmanship found throughout this restoration.
Accommodations: Berths for five are provided in the V-berth (2), port settee (2), and aft quarter berth (1). The cabins are finished with tan fabric cushions and oiled teak joiner work. Down the companionway, the chart table is located conveniently to starboard with the galley just forward. To port is the quarterberth. A convertible dinette is forward and includes a removable dining table. The head is to port, forward of the main cabin and includes a new Corian countertop. Opposite is a hanging locker. Over the main cabin is a beautiful teak butterfly hatch. All ports are opening bronze with tempered glass.
Galley The galley is equipped with a top-loading insulated icebox which is refrigerated. The new Force 10 stainless steel propane stove has 2-burners, broiler, and an oven and is gimbaled for duty under sail. Completing the galley setup is a double stainless steel sink, hot and cold pressure water, and plenty of storage in cabinets both above and below the work surface. An optional counter extension flips up for additional space for the nav station or galley.

Electrical Restless has both 110V AC and 12V DC services. The 110-volt AC shore power provides dockside service for hot water, the recently upgraded “GUEST” battery charging system, multiple outlets in the galley, head, and each cabin. The 12-volt DC system has 2-batteries connected by “GUEST” selector switches in the nav station for isolating batteries or combining them. Both the 110V and 12V service panels are equipped with breaker switches above the nav station. A bronze Dynaplate is provided for the best lightning/grounding protection available. All 12VDC and 110VAC electrical wiring, electrical panels, switches, and AGM batteries are new.
Electronics Restless is equipped with Datamarine knot and depth meters, and a Raymarine ST1000 autopilot. A Standard Horizon Quest VHF radio is mounted at the nav station along with a stereo with CD, Ipod plug-in, 4 speakers, and a Garmin 65GPS at the navigation station. A Ritchie bulkhead compass and a VHF Ram Mic are in the cockpit. The VHF coaxial and mast wiring are new 2007.
Sails and Rigging Restless is a factory-built double-headsail yawl with tiller steering. The staysail is self-tending. Hood LD roller furling is available for the 130% Hood Passagemaker Genoa. Staysail and mizzen are included. The mainsail has jiffy reefing and Lazy Jacks, with all lines and sail controls led aft and handled from the cockpit. Large #19 Barlow bronze self-tailing primary winches, #23 ST on cabin top, cabin top traveler, and boom vang make sail adjustments easy. All running rigging is new 2008.
Safety Equipment and Accessories Restless is a very capable and accommodating sailboat. Her “miscellaneous” list includes all the required Coast Guard safety equipment, a properly sized galvanized plow anchor with chain and rode, CruiseAir reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning, SS swim ladder on the transom, boomvang, Ritchie bulkhead-mounted compass, new sailcovers 2008, interior and exterior teak refinished 2008, manual bilge pump, electric bilge pump with float switch, and manual sea water pump in galley.
