This one owner vessel is a finely detailed and well maintained example of the very popular Gerry Douglas/Catalina Yachts designed 320 MKI. Popular also in many charter fleets, the comfortable cockpit with pushpit seats, roomy accommodations below, and predictable yet invigorating performance make this a perfect choice in a 32ft. platform.

Accommodations:

Berths for seven are provided in the V-berth (2), port settee (1), starboard settee (2), and beautiful queen sized aft cabin (2). The cabins are finished with blue fabric cushions and satin varnished teak joiner work and ash ceilings. Down the companionway, the chart table is located conveniently to port just forward of the proper sea going galley. Forward on the starboard side of the main salon is an adjustable height dinette table that converts to a snug double birth. The head with molded sink, vanity and shower are located aft of the starboard settee, and a cedar lined hanging locker is positioned on the starboard side of the companionway. Ample ventilation is supplied by 5 screened opening ports and 4 overhead hatches.

Galley

The galley is equipped with a top-loading insulated icebox with 12 volt refrigeration. The propane stove has 2 burners and an oven and is gimbaled for duty under sail. Completing the galley setup are two deep stainless steel sinks, hot and cold pressure water, and plenty of storage in cabinets both above and below the work surface.

Head

A reliable manual marine head with macerator is provided along with hot and cold pressure water. Hot water is supplied electrically by a hot water heater when dockside and via a heat exchanger from the engine when underway. A 12-volt shower (never used) sump pump will discharge shower water, helping to keep the bilge clean and odor free. A molded vanity and sink provide easy to clean surfaces. A 22-gallon holding tank may be emptied via a dockside pump out or discharged via a y-valve and thru hull.

Electrical

“LADY K” has both 110V AC and 12V DC services. The 110-volt AC shore power provides dockside service for hot water, multiple outlets in the galley, head and each cabin. The 12 volt system has 2 NEW 4D battery banks with selector switch to isolate or combine the banks, and a Charles 30 amp charging system. Both the 110V and 12V service panels are equipped with breaker switches above the nav station. A powerful Maxwell windlass, with separate breaker is a welcome component for cruising.

Electronics

Equipped with Ray Marine ST-50 knot and depth, Raymarine ST 4000 autopilot located at the helm opposite the engine instrumentation. A JRC radar/ chartplotter with Questus gimbaled radar mount and VHF radio is mounted at the nav station with a “RAM” mic at the helm. A Garmin hand held GPS connects to a 12volt connector on the pedestal.

Sails and Rigging

Schaefer roller furling is standard for the 135% Genoa. The full battened main sail has single line reefing, Dutchman flaking system, and all lines and sail controls led aft and handled from the cockpit with rope clutches and cabin top winches. Large self-tailing primary winches, cabin top traveler with 6 to 1 purchase, double ended main sheet with 6 to 1 purchase and rigid boom vang make sail adjustments easy.

Mechanical

The smooth running, professionally maintained Yanmar 3GM30(FWC) diesel with approx. 535 hours will get you safely to your next port.

Safety Equipment and Accessories

“LADY K” is a very capable and accommodating sailboat. Her “miscellaneous” list includes all the required Coast Guard safety equipment, a properly sized 22 lb. Danforth anchor with 25 ft. of chain and 250 ft. 0f 5/8 “rode, SS swim ladder on the walk through  transom with swim platform, a custom dodger with SS grabrail and bimini with transition panel, BBQ mounted on the stern rail, custom cockpit cushions, spare parts, brass ship’s bell, vacuum oil changer, and second anchor.
