This clean, well-kept Senator 35 Trawler is ready to cruise. $50,000 in upgrades have been completed in the past few
years, including 2-part Interlux paint applied
from the cap rail up in 2004; nonskid decking in 2004; a
fresh bright coating was done in 2010. A next-gen 3.5 kw
generator and reverse cycle Mermaid heat/AC system were
added in October 2008. New zincs, new bottom paint and entire
boat waxed and cleaned in March 2011. The vessel
was surveyed in September 2010, with deficiencies
corrected. New batteries were added March 2011.
Accommodations:
The forward cabin has a spacious V-berth with storage below, as well as additional storage in
a full-size starboard hanging locker. A door at the bottom of the companionway steps
provides privacy between the forward cabin and the salon. Natural lighting and
ventilation is provided by an opening overhead hatch and opening port and starboard
cabin ports. An enclosed head aft to port offers a sink, shower and marine toilet, with an
opening cabin port for ventilation.
The main cabin is accessed by a sliding door aft. The lower helm is forward to
starboard with a large chart table/nav station to port. Aft to starboard is a large
L-settee with a pedestal table. Large windows provide a panoramic view. Forward to port
in the main cabin is the galley up. A U-shaped galley counter running fore and aft contains
a double stainless sink and a Magic Chef four-burner stainless propane stove and oven.
The Norcold refrigerator and freezer is located behind the helmsman's bench seat.
On the flybridge deck, the flybridge seats at least three on the forward facing bench seat,
with room for additional folding seats aft of the console. Storage is provided below the upper
helm console behind cabinet doors. Down five steps is the cockpit deck with space for
deck chairs and table. The cockpit deck and the transom door allows access to the swim
platform.
