The Marine Trader 36 is one of the most popular and versatile boats in its class. It is a well designed, comfortable family cruiser and is good for fishing and entertainment as well. Accommodations: L’Espirit De Mer’s spacious, well appointed salon provides ample room and comfort for all and has (2) access doors from the main deck, (1) port and (1) starboard, with the (2) staterooms and head/shower access fore and aft and down from the salon. To starboard is a full galley, sink, working countertops, fridge, microwave, 120V electric range and oven. To port is the settee and dining room table. Throughout she is built with beautifully varnished teak with a parquet cabin sole and has an abundance of storage space. The forward guest stateroom has a large V-berth and separate head/sink arrangement; the aft master stateroom has a double berth to port and a head tub and shower to starboard. Both rooms have abundant locker/drawer storage space. Galley The galley is in the main salon and conveniently located to make meal/serving preparations a breeze. Galley appliances include 120/12-volt fridge (below countertop), microwave, double sinks with hot/cold pressure water, pots/pans, and dishes. Head There are two well-kept marine heads, one forward in the V-berth area and the other in the master stateroom aft. Both have sinks as well. The aft head area also has a bathtub and shower. Both have ample storage for supplies and can be accessed through the main salon. Electrical/Electronics Standard Horizon GPS 170C Deck and Hull The Marine Trader 36 is made of solid fiberglass with cored fiberglass decks. The decks offer good space for lounging/fishing, and are well laid out to move about on. There is a swim platform aft which makes excellent stowage for the dinghy. Topsides is a large fly bridge/sun deck with a bimini for sun/weather protection and several moveable folding chairs. Mechanical Power is generated by (1) Ford Lehman 120 HP Diesel engine with approximately 2500 hours. The engine is reported in good running order and appears to be clean and well taken care of (the engine room is also clean). There is a manual anchor windlass on the foredeck . The prop was repitched and the bottom was done in 2009. Safety Equipment and Accessories L’Espirit De Mer has a compass, (4) life jackets, and a Baltik inflatable dinghy.
