The Com-Pac 27 is the ultimate pocket cruiser, offering the amenities of a much larger boat in a 27-foot package. Down below she is roomy and offers 6' 1" standing headroom, as well as six berths, a full galley, and an enclosed head with shower. Interlude is nicely equipped and has been well maintained. She has built-in air conditioning and with her shallow draft, she's perfect for exploring the rivers, creeks and sounds of the East Coast and beyond. Accommodations: Stepping down the companionway you will notice that the cabin is roomy and open, with good light and ventilation provided by two hatches and eight opening ports with screens. Forward is a V-berth with insert, and aft of that are settees on either side. The port settee forms a double berth, while the starboard settee converts into two bunks, for a total of six berths. The dinette table folds down from the bulkhead, where a set of shelves provides secure, convenient storage for plates, bowls, and cups. Galley Aft to port is the full galley, with a two-burner Origo stove, Whirlpool microwave, and Adler-Barbour refrigeration. The boat has hot and cold pressurized water. A fold-up galley extension adds additional counter space. Head To starboard is the enclosed head with stainless steel sink, teak grating and cabinets, marine head, and shower. Electrical The Com-Pac 27 is wired for 12V DC and 110V AC power. A TrueCharge 20-amp multi-stage battery charger with remote display keeps the batteries topped up and keeps you informed about their state of charge. NEW batteries June 2009. Electronics Electronics include NEW VHF radio, Horizon wind and depth instruments, an SR Mariner knotmeter, and a Jensen AM/FM/CD player with two JVC speakers flush mounted in the cabin. Deck and Hull The roomy cockpit is protected by a bimini and dodger, and includes a cockpit table, drink holders, helm seat cushion, stern rail seats, and cockpit shower. Contrasting non-skid decks and touches of teak provide a classic appearance. Sails and Rigging A traditional battened mainsail and 135% genoa add up to a total sail area of 380 square feet for a sail area/displacement ratio of 15.4. The genoa features Harken roller furling. NEW mainsail cover. Mechanical A reliable Westerbeke 18 hp diesel resides behind the companionway steps and has logged only 192 hours. Safety Equipment and Accessories Interlude comes equipped with two anchors, manual and electric bilge pumps, dual lifelines, and miscellaneous CG-required safety equipment.
