Superior craftsmanship ... typical of Pacific Seacraft. Far Tortuga is the perfect all-weather, comfortable, safe, and sea-kindly vessel. At her length of 32', she'll cruise 2 to 4 people with ease. She offers full, panoramic views from the pilothouse, where there is an inside weather-protected steering station. This boat has loads of storage space due to the raised sole in the pilothouse, which provides holds for all your ship's cruising gear and stores.
Far Tortuga has been nicely maintained and is a great opportunity to get into a remarkable cruising sailboat. She is currently in dry storage at the Pacific Seacraft factory in Washington, NC, awaiting her new owner.

FORWARD CABIN: This is the owner's stateroom with a large and comfortable berth for two and with cedar-lined lockers port and starboard. Cavernous space for storage exists below the V-berth cushions. Shelves are provided over each hanging locker and along both sides of the V-berth.
Reverse-cycle heating and air keeps the cabin comfortable, and a set of shades for the pilothouse windows provides privacy and protects the interior from the sun.
The galley is open and airy with plenty of headroom. Features include:
The Groco manual marine head is plumbed to a holding tank equipped with an electric macerator discharge pump and overboard thru-hull, or it may be emptied via shore side pumpout through the deck discharge fitting. Hot and cold pressure water shower with electric shower sump pump. Numerous teak lockers and drawers. Teak shower seat, shower pan under a teak grate.
Navigation equipment includes a Ritchie compass, Autohelm depth/speed and Standard Horizon wind instruments in the cockpit, as well as a NEW Raymarine X-5 Smartpilot with ST6002 control head. Deck and Hull
Pacific Seacraft's robust hull and deck structure are second to none. The Pilothouse 32 features a Scheel keel for uncompromised shoal draft performance. The rudder is protected by a substantial skeg. On deck there are teak handrails, Lewmar winches, and a Harken furler for the headsail. Ground tackle includes a 25-lb. CQR anchor handled by a Muir electric windlass. A bimini over the cockpit provides protection from the elements. A set of davits on the stern offers convenient storage for a tender.
Sails and Rigging
Far Tortuga is rigged as a sloop and comes with a full-batten mainsail and 130% genoa. A cruising spinnaker with dousing sock is also included.
The original Volvo turbodiesel with 500 hours has just undergone a complete rebuild by Vosbury Marine in Annapolis and re-installation by Pacific Seacraft.
